Would you want your Billy Tiktaalik to play this song or perhaps this one?

Those are both pretty good. How about this?

I'm curious as to how the DC loot thing works. Do we have to purchase a certain amount of stuff (as an organization), or do they make the stuff to order?

The reason that I am asking is that the raptor club wants to buy a new batch of t-shirts and sweatshirts to sell (mostly to members, or at fairs) but we don't want to create a huge inventory. Money is a factor.

CafePress is a print-on-demand outfit - they don't maintain an inventory, they just create it as it's ordered.

Thanks. I'll send a link to the raptor club. That could save us a ton of money (and solve the problem of what to do about the problem of the excess small and xx-large sizes that tend to accumulate).

Just ordered the standard mug and the mousepad. DC must need the money given the lengthy outage. Right?

Ah!

Apparently, the gods are listening to me today!

I just found a thing from CafePress in my e-mail.

It is a Coupon Code for Free Shipping off of the next order of 50 bucks or more and is good through 21 February.

Since it's important to share your Good Stuff, here is the code:

SHIP0219

Now where's my MasterCard? I'm going to order some DC stuff!

:D

I'm re-posting Senator BedBug's post here since I had lost track of where the PayPal link went:

Senator Bedfellow wrote:Also, this seems like a good time to suggest the following: DC is run relatively inexpensively, but it's not entirely free. If you'd like to support DC and its operations, why not stop by the Cafepress shop, and purchase some DC merchandise for yourself or as a gift:

http://www.cafepress.com/dcorg

Show the world you're a member of The Conspiracy That CaresĀ®, and while you're at it, a portion of all your purchases goes to support our operations.

Or, if you're the direct, down-to-business type, mash on the image below to be taken to a page where you can support DC directly, via Paypal or major credit/debit card. Donations are not required, and no one will be guilted or harangued into donating at any time - unlike other forums out there, we recognize that your most important contribution to DC is simply your continued membership, and the insightful content you provide to us. But if you'd like to contribute a little bit in terms of filthy lucre, please feel free to do so at your convenience. Donations are not tax-deductible, and anything left over after we pay the bills might end up being spent on beer and hookers, but we promise to take care of the bills first :8):
