What happens when the site cookies are deleted? I've been reluctant to do that.

Shouldn't make a difference. What sort of glitches are you seeing?

I think we have a winner for me....
I have more of a problem with white backgrounds than I do with dark ones... Though on word, I tend to use a medium gray background with black letters....

Acidtech Blue might be attractive to a shoe-bomber, but it's not for me. Serenity however is a big improvement over subsilver2. Pale, neutral-colored background that doesn't scream at you, simple dark blue thread titles, and best of all -- red markers for new posts and even red titles for the names of forums with new posts. Much better than the themes that use orange for those signals.Senator Bedfellow wrote:I've added two new themes, Acidtech Blue and Serenity. Both themes are by the same author that brought you Aphrodite on the old board. Serenity is actually quite similar in feel to Aphrodite - those of you who are Aphrodite fans my want to test drive it for a bit.

Besides that, and much better (less obnoxious) colors, there's yet another reason I like Serenity: the controls have a more convenient layout. "Board index" is at the left margin, and "Mark topics read" is at the right margin. That makes it much easier (at least for me) to navigate around and find the things I want to see and to clean up those I don't want to see. The original themes had a less logical layout for those items, and I always had to hunt around for the buttons I wanted to push.PatrickHenry wrote:Another advantage of Serenity: it doesn't use those thick, ugly horizontal borders for quoted material the way subsilver2 does. Just a simple, single-line box. Big improvement.

I did and it screwed the display up so badly I couldn't get out and I had to get the Senator to restore the default.

The same thing happened to me with one of the other patterns.
There was no way I could access the "User Control Panel" after the change. Fortunately I was able to use the back button on the browser until I reached the previous pattern, from which I could access the "User Control Pannel" and change back.
Sentator, could you check each pattern for presence/absence of the control pannel link?

Do you know which one was a problem for you?
