I don't think you understand my purpose here. I am not here to continue this discussion with you, I am here to close it. We do not have "rogue" moderators here - when the mods act, it is with the knowledge and support of the other moderators and the administrators here at Darwin Central. You can accept that in this case, and move on to find something else to discuss, or you can decline to accept that, and I will move you on so that you may discuss this and other subjects elsewhere. One of those two options is going to be the outcome here today - which one will be up to you.

Strela~ I posted at Clown Posse for a time and I don`t agree with your assesments about this site and their reaction to CP. I do believe the Mods know of my posting history and I have never once felt unfairly treated.

In my experience the moderating is even handed here.

Respectfully I ask you to look at both sides. These kids are trying to run a fun science related site that is attractive to as many people as possible. And let`s face it, talking about Clown Posse is a divisive topic, (be that good, bad or otherwise). These are good folks trying to have a fun place to chat and they don`t need the drama ,that talking about Clown Posse can stir up, to deal with.

I hope you look around because there are some fun people here too.

Sorry guys. I didn`t realize that you were going to pull Annie`s post- so I thought I should respond to what she said to me. I have no problems leaving past CP issues in the dark of DC. You won`t get an fight from me. Also for the record my original post was not at all meant to bash CP- I was just trying to make the point that "good, bad or otherwise" ,talking about CP divides people.

I think this site needs to start launching some of the baiters and hotheads who seem to love on-line fights. This is getting old. I used to love going into other sites chat to see what assholery DLR or Runningmouth posted on FR. Now all we have is fighting about TOAK, CP and FR.

Yep, I agree....TOAK is impotent, CP is gone, and FR is irrelevant...still FR does provide us with lots of laughs(as has been the case today, with DLR, see Other Sites Chat)...so in that way, tho FR is irrelevant in the real world, it does let us see lots of the fringe elements, that we might not otherwise see in our own real lives...so FR still serves a useful function...but as far as bickering between current or former TOAK members, or former members of CP, since I dont know anything real thing about either one of these websites, I really dont care what they think now, or thought before...if they are here, then what I care about is what they post here, concerning the issues here...I care about what they bring to these threads, and what they bring to these threads, should not involve any past history with CP or TOAK...since I dont take anyone elses word for anything, but need to see these things for myself, I am loathe to take anyones word that CP members did this or that, or TOAK members did this or that...who really cares anymore, since CP is now gone, and TOAK, is some other little chat site of no worthy mention...

I think we've run our course on this one. And now back to our regularly scheduled programming
