SEEN THIS BEFORE. THIS SYSTEM HAS BEEN BRUITED ABOUT FOR SOME YEARS NOW. BASICALLY AN UPDATED MITRAILLEUSE.
I HAVE YET TO SEE INFORMATION CONCERNING RELOADING PROCEDURES FOR A HOT WEAPON.

It might be misapplied in some situations. It would make sense in a "we get only one chance to get this right" situation where reloading can only occur if you are still alive.

IIRC, you swap out barrels. I don't know if that has been automated in any way.

Since it makes sense only as an area weapon, all these projectiles can be delivered on that area as fragments of something [singular or plural] exploding there, or in vicinity. An old shoe, and much cheaper.
